The leader of the pack..

My eldest 'alpha male' and leader of the pack, Lucy, died.
I feel pretty awfull because I checked him when I got home from work this morning and thought he was just sleeping, because he was warm and lying how piggies usually do with legs splayed out behind him.
I went back a few hours later and realise he was only warm because ghenghis, his housemate, had been snuggling up to him to try to warm him up!
:( :( :(

RIP Lucy, I know you had a good long life full of hugs and cucmbers, but I still miss you and wish I had time for one more cuddle.
You're irreplaceable and the pack wont be the same without you.

Thankyou for your kind words, guys. It's so nice to find a community full of such decent people.
Though I miss him myself, I have to accept that it was the right time for Lucy to go. He was old, and had a awesome life.
I miss him, and it broke my hear to bury his body and say my final goodbyes, but I KNOW he's gone somewhere EVEN better, and he lived a good long life here. I know he's gone somewhere where cucumber is standard fare and ear scratching is 24/7.


Maybe it's cold, but existence goes on, and I know I gave him my best. :)
But support from you guys really does help.

Rock on, Lucy, maybe in your next life people will call you by your full name :))
(it was meant to be lucifer but of course it got cut down!)
