In the smaller pen the gruesome twosome tend to pee and poop in one corner. I thought I might as well put a tray in there to catch it. Filled it with hay, thought they might as well multi-task. I've just put them in the lounge for floor time (first time since the escape incident of Monday...) and put it in poo corner in there. It turns out it can also become an awesome upright haybox. Just wish I hadn't gathered up about a million poos that they did on the fleece whilst setting up and put them in there as a hint for its purpose...

My boys do this all the time, they also hide behind it and have their bums sticking out. You can't see me now mummy.

I bought a large cat litter tray from pets at home which I line with a puppy pad then fill with hay. The boys regularly use this as a toilet because it's bigger than the corner litter tray and they can go in there and have a hay bath and a poo/wee all at the same time. :))

That's awesome @Adelle thank you! What a ridiculous design though, if it is designed to fit in a corner then surely the hooks would need to be placed on an angle... I'd been pondering about string or something so I shall dig out an elastic band (there are only two girls in this house, me and Jenny, and neither of us are long haired. It's a bobble free house!)

It really is- what exactly are those hooks meant to clip onto?! I've had no tipping since.. Although ofcourse they still have to find a way to cause bother- crunchie goes under the hay and runs across the cage at full speed with it all on her back, spreading it all over the vetbeds as she goes! I'm sure i've hear a "la la laaa" from her whilst doing it lol

This is a very good idear I admit I was shocked at just how much my piggies po ! I have a old spoon I scoop their cage every morning ahahhah they think I'm mad !
