Since feeding the boys the ratewatchers diet they have been eating all their veg for a change, as before as i was giving far too much they were leaving some.

Well also they refused to eat coriander, watercress and peppers before but now they eat them all! xx>>> Goes to show that they will eat the 'good veg' when its on offer and not just pick out the 'favorite ones', just wanted to share that with others just incase your trying to get your piggys to try different veg. I offered the above veg with some of their favorites too and they love eating all their veg now as everyday is different.

I have made the same experience - their least favourite veg gets only left when they have stuffed themselves with grass; but it's usually gone by morning!
 
I was desperate for them to eat peppers and coriander as i had read it was really good for them, but they refused point blank before and just stuffed their faces with the 'nice veg' and i threw out the ones that i was trying them on, but i suppose it goes to show that i was over feeding them too.

I'm just glad that they have a taste for them now :))
 
It is easier in a bigger group - the "I do not want to miss out" reflex works every time! ;)
 
Mine are so greedy, they'd eat almost anything! I think maybe, I don't give them the same things everyday, so i think they're like, "oh pepper, we mightn't get that for another week or two, better eat it all!"
