I nipped to the pet shop today to replace a broken water bottle and I ended up spending £30! How did that happen? I ended up buying a little bed, some toys, some hay and various other things that I probably didn't need! Does this happen to anyone else? You nip in to buy things and end up spending so much you need to remortgage the house?!?/ To top it all off, I almost forgot the water bottle....

That always happens to me, I start looking around and end up buying all kind of things I or my piggies dont really need :)

Lol - me too! So now I go to a small local shop that doesn't stock too much other than the necessities so there is no temptation. Every now and then tho I will pop on the internet shops or go to P@H.

Yeap, me too ... lately I can't resist the herbs etc that are being sold, particulary in P&H.

I am *terrible* for that...I go in for some food and come out with silly interesting treats and toys and little things for them to cosy up in...

My worst offender is the "Boredom Breaker Naturals" range...they do wonderful dried herb mixes that my boys go wild for....shame they're expensive too though! T_T

From the title i thought you were going to show us a picture of a diamond encrusted water bottlerolleyes!

i did similar this morning went in to mill for some guinea pig food and after a long chat about dog food came out with a bag of dog food as well! some thing new to try!:))

Well, I only popped onto Zooplus to order a new cat carrier and ended up spending £10 on the guinea pigs too. I should get someone else to do my shopping for me!

I went to get some wood shavings today ... yes, sorry I do still use them :red. None in stock but I came out with a bag of Science Selective (think that is the name) and 4lb compressed bag of Timothy hay.

Spent just over £14 on those two items and came away with no wood shavings! rolleyes

I did that yesterday... Went in to buy Excel guinea pig food and came out with Excel rabbit food, a massive bag of hay, some Fenucreek nibbly bits, a parsley bell, a hay tube and a carrot patch for the rabbits...
Was planning on spending £5 but ended spending £40!
I absolutely loved giving them their little presents though! I prefer buying things for my pets than myself these days...:))

Saying that i rectified the over spend by going to Ikea today and instead of spending £50 on a bookcase i found one half price so harmony has been restored... :))
