I have (as I posted about in the rescue section) a single boar - Sweep - now that his brother has died. He lives above a pair of bonded boars.
I am trying to figure out what is best for Sweep.
I know a lot of people feel that more than 2 boars can't happily co-exist. But I have heard of more and more people that have managed to get more than two boars to live well together.
The bonded pair are 2ish and Sweep is about 3. I am wondering if, given enough space, they might be able to live together. I'm considering trying them side by side in the runs and seeing how they react and taking it from there.
Has anyone had experience of bonding 3 (or more!) adult boars?
If I can't find a good home for him then I really don't want him to be on his own.
