The New Cage Renovation Is Complete

So after seeing the size of other Guinea Pigs C&C cages I took a look at my Piggies cage and it looked waaaaaaay to cluttered and needed more space for zoomies. I have a 140x70 cage which is plenty big enough (and the biggest I could get around here) until you start adding accessories like two large pigloos. Here is the before and after...


I have since got rid of the blue castle because it was too big for them both now they have decided to share hidey's again and bought a red dome pigloo exactly the same size as the blue one which leaves hardly any room at all.

Oooops forgot the other photo. Still a work in progress because I hate the blue and obviously the bendy log thing and sacks are gone now and I've made a black curtain to hang over the hidey which is just temporary until I can get some pink fleece. I'm never happy with their cage so this will probably get renovated again at some stage. Why is it the iphone photos make every thing look tiny, the cage is alot bigger looking than that shown in the photo.

I love the fleece colours, and the platform at the end is a great idea.

Thanks, I tried to make it as girly as possible for them. Now picture it with hay everywhere and a scattering of poos and you have what it looks like now. Going to be a big job tonight to spot clean.

I'd love to get a bigger cage but they seem happy enough with this one.
