Well Bubbles has been alone for 6 months now (I really know we shouldn't have left it this long but things have just been hectic with Squeaky becoming ill and we just haven't found the time.) but we have finally got him a friend! He is currently in quarantine for a few weeks (I think that's how long you have to keep them separate for, if I'm wrong then please feel free to correct me!)
He is just a little darling and seems really calm when I handle him and didn't even mind when I checked his teeth! He seems to have settled right in and is currently sitting in the hay nomming on some spinach! We haven't fully decided on a name yet (We were thinking maybe Benny but not sure about it) so if anyone has any name suggestions for him that'd be great!
And now, Pigtures! Unfortunately not the best quality of pigtures but they were just taken really quickly because I didn't want to stress him out too much.

Hope you enjoyed the pigtures! I will most definately be on sometime soon to get some clearer photos, hope these ones will do for now! xx

He is a gorgeous boy! I hope that he will get along with Bubbles.

Quarantaine is usually 2-3 weeks for a piggy from an indifferent background that hasn't gone through it at a good rescue. It is to make sure that it doesn't carry anything transmittable or that the stress of the move etc. hasn't caused anything latent to come up, like mites, fungal or URI.

Thankyou Wiebke! I'm going to keep them seperate for a bit longer, maybe I'll start introducing them and bonding them during the easter holidays where I'll have more time to sit and bond them properly without distractions. Hopefully they'll get along!

What a gorgeous little cutiepig! I think the name Benny would suit him as well, you chose well :) Hope all goes well with their bonding :))

What a stunner x) Hope the bonding goes well!

Thankyou so much everyone!
A little incident happened this morning where he got his foot stuck in the hayrack and there was a teeny cut on his paw, and it bled for a little bit :...
He didnt seem that bothered by it and it looks like its going to heal up nicely. The hayrack in question is now in the bin!

awwww Benny is just adorable........ the name suits him......... let me know if you change it (i'd had to miss out) x)x)x)

How did he get on?

Its an infection from the cut he got on the hayrack :(
he is having daily baytril and metacam, hopefully it will clear up soon, but if not then we'll take him back so the vet can have another look. He was really good with the vets, and sat calmly while the vet examined him :)
Hopefully it'll clear up soon.

Awww, bless him for been good at the vets. Hope that should do the trick. Lots of healing vibes his way x

x) Aww, he is so adorable! Lovely colouring, he's so sweet! Sorry I'm late to this thread!
I think Benny suits him nicely too. Lots of healing vibes, I hope his paws heals very quickly.
Wheeks and (((hugs))) from Puzzle and Bingo.

He is soooo cute! Good luck with the bonding situation. Namewise, I would go with either Augustus or Benny.
