So tonight has been a mix of brief face humping (like, for a second, before the culprit loses his balance), the best kind of constant, deep boar rumbles, nosing off, and...popcorning. Yes, Blitzen's at it again. After Comet's wandered off again because he's bored and has the attention span of a goldfish, B starts with the high pitched squawking and popcorning. It's as if he's celebrating, and celebrating very loudly!

I have discovered why Comet no longer seemed to like spinach and other leaves. He does, but you have to feed him the stalk part first. If you try giving him the leaf itself, he'll ignore it. Fussy sod. Blitzen will still eat pretty much everything, as long as he can eat the stalks - give him a sprig of mint, and he'll eat the stalk from top to bottom leaving the leaves behind as he goes. I need to get a video of him doing that sometime, it's actually hilarious to watch. He's also stopped nicking Comet's food so often. I'll offer him something, he'll say no, Comet has it instead, and then Blitzen just stares at me like I've committed the ultimate betrayal...at least until I find something else to offer him.

Also, does anyone else have piggies with specific music tastes? These two both seem to like blues, for some reason :yikes:

...I had a non-steroid headache/migraine I couldn't shift for two days. I think it finally broke me. :))

Podrick isn't picky but a bit daft. Jon can't have dill so I feed a few pieces to Pod daily. He gets very confused and doesn't take it if I don't give it to him stalk first. He'll just continue sniffing around for it although it's right near his mouth.

That's spooky. my late piggie loved his leaves. But defo stalk 1st. Oh yes yummy bit 1st. so we look in shops for extra long stalks. also carrot tops some of them be good foot long he love them. munch munch stop munch munch and his ears wobble whilst he ate them x

The morning after...what's a non-steroid headache?

Your boars sound so entertaining I love your stories.
Non-steroid headache sounds like the one you get when you come off high dose steroids that are taken to fight serious inflamation. I did it once and I never ever want a repeat. I really feel for people who get migrane I suspect it's similar. Not such a morning after thing to say perhaps? :)) Hope you're feeling better.

Possibly...although I've never had to take steroids so I really can't compare the two. I think I probably meant "non-stop" and autocomplete got in the way lol. And they *are* entertaining....but they rarely show that off when other people are around. Clearly I'm blessed, although Comet was just eating at a treat, and a piece snapped off and pinged me on the back. Blessed and tortured, all at once.

So tonight, the tables turned! Comet tried humping Blitzen again, and Blitzen responded by (accidentally, to be fair) kicking Comet in the face. Comet reacted to being kicked in the face by...popcorning. He never popcorns. And he's apparently so out of practice that after doing it twice he fell over his back legs.

Meanwhile after a couple of weeks of relative peace and quiet, my neighbour is at it again tonight. Sigh. I'd rather have silly pig shenanigans every time.

Maybe Comet doesn't popcorn with excitement and happiness like other piggies, maybe he popcorns to tell Blitzen off lol.

I have stupid neighbours too, they play their tv really loud until midnight and all you can here is "doof doof doof* and every Saturday they have a party and invite just about every moron in town and flood the street with cars. You would expect this from a couple in their twenties but these two are in their late forties or early fifties.
