I want to know if anyone has a piggy who had this done later in life and how the piggy coped?

Hi, i only have experience of a young piggy having a hind leg amputation but he coped really well and i dont see why an older piggy wouldn't too if his/her health is otherwise good. generally speaking pigs cope well on three legs as they have such a low centre of gravity and losing a hind leg would not be as bad as losing a front leg as most of the body weight is carried on the front legs.
