The piggies are off on holiday!

The girls are going to katiepops on Saturday for two weeks while I'm on holiday/work experience on a farm. I've never left them for so long in their whole lives! At least I know they'll be very well looked after!

I would smuggle them in my suitcase if they weren't so noisy! Any one else leaving their pigs behind this summer?

I'm going camping for a week so my 2 girls are going to my work mates house.
she has had a guinea pig herself before & adores animals so i know she will look after my girls
i will miss them though 8...
 
We are going away in sept for just over 2 weeks, they are staying with our vet though (at her house) she has her own piggies and everything so i know they *** be looked after, i am just going to miss them so much, i hated it when we went away for 5 days in June, it felt like forever.
 
It's horrible leaving them isn't it! I always try to think what a nice time they're having though, because when someone else has them, they always get extra treats and attention :)) My girls won't want to come home to their mean mum who doesn't let them eat the whole veg patch because that would be greedy, and tells them they stink :))

@Toffeewoffee It must be nice knowing they're going to a vets, 100% peace of mind in case anything should happen!
 
i am on holiday in scotland just now but are going home tomorrow(only here for a week as i would miss them too much if here for two), the piggies are at my in-laws,so i know they will be very well looked after as the had loads of piggies when o/h was a boy . my mil even got them to eat coriander which they would not eat if i gave it to them lol.

Your girls will get spoilt rotten and have lots of piggies in the same room to chat to, don't you worry.
I can't say I know what it feels like to leave them as I've never managed a holiday or even an evening away since I've had them! lol
