So I FINALLY managed to save up enough for my babies to get a hutch upgrade! Just in time too; as they were starting to fight as the babies were getting bigger - there really wasn't enough room for them all!

This first picture is the old hutch (I've had it since my first guinea pigs Rosie and Nibbles (miss them like mad) back in 2004!) and the picture below is the new hutch; thanks to my mum and brother who had it built in ten minutes flat...I don't do DIY. We need to move the hutch (as the rabbits are going in the old one) and arrange the garden a little bit but then I can set it up for them!

I'm so excited! Bramble and Holly have been wheeking at it all morning! And Smudge is staring like "can we go in yet?!"

Is that a kind of netting u have over the older hutch to keep out flies?

Sadly; this cover didn't come
With a fly net so me and mum are going to have to make our own or search online! We don't want no flies getting in!

They're not really sure what to do in the new hutch; bless them all x3 I think they're getting over how much space they have!
 
I had to teach the the concept of the new ramp yesterday. They weren't moving between floors! So I picked them up and placed them on the ramp and then they now understand and can move between floors!

It's making me so happy watching them because like; I know I've done good for them and it's so much better! They have to much space to run around and explore!

:D For hutch cover with fly screen, go to ScratchandNewton.com. If they don't sell it, they can make one to fit. :tu:
 
Thanks for the advice! We'll search there for a fly screen! As the hutch cover at the moment is just a nighttime cover.

I'll post some pics soon! Now that they actually know how to climb up and down aha! You should have seen them with apple for the first time this morning! X3
