As I moved house today I thought the piggies deserved a change of scenery too....so with a friend kindly looking after my trio I started work on their new cage :D

Correx all cut to size and taped into shape using white gaffer tape. White corner protectors fitted and grids put on the inside (they're not supposed to go on the inside, but we didn't buy enough corner protectors today so they're on the inside for now!). The correx part is 165cm long (just over 5ft) and 100cm wide (just over 3ft). Stage one completed:

Newspaper and fleece down ready for piggies to come home, they will have a cage liner eventually and I can to order it now I know how big the cage is :D:

Rest of bits in and piggies exploring their new home  In the picture you can see Marley (black texel) and Molly (tricolour Swiss), Mabel is hiding in the tunnel  :

I think they like their new pad :D

all of mine will be moving house too soon! :) XX

Very well done, I like the long tunnel. Where is it from, a DIY shop?

I got it off eBay, it's an air conditioning duct I think, I got 2 for £16 and each one extends to 21ft! I did think my bunnies could use them hence why I got two but I got my measurements mixed up and the diameter isn't big enough for them, so one is sat unused!

it looks great! what is the black thing that the hay is in I'd love one! xx

It's a gardening potting tray, funnily enough I'm getting rid of the one in the picture and getting another one as there is a large lip at the back which creates a narrow gap between the tray and the cage which Mabel will spend hours sitting down (she is a rescue and unsure of her background but she is just terrified) and I feel it's quite unhealthy and probably uncomfortable for her to do that.

FYI- grids on the inside means naughty piggies dont chew the correx: I have mine on the inside for that reason :)

The grids are only on the inside cos we didn't buy enough edge protector, but they will move on the outside once we get some more and fit it :)

What lucky piggies - that cage is fab!

You wouldn't happen to know the diameter of orebay seller that you got the pipe off would you? I'd love to get some for my piggies - Especially if it's plastic I could cut it up and give some pipes to everyone! :)
