I decided to move my guinea pigs inside as they haven't been getting enough exercise recently as they haven't been able to go in their run. :( Also, their hutch isn't as big as it should be as I took on Pansy, my third piggie, in an urgent situation and I decided that a hutch half a foot smaller than recommended for 3 guinea pigs would be 100 times better than Pansy dying... I am however on the look out for a new hutch so if anyone sees a 5ft two tier for sale in West Yorkshire, please let me know.

So for now, they have moved inside. I actually did this secretly without telling my parents ") as I knew they wouldn't agree so I thought I'd set it up and then see what they say! The guinea pigs moved in last night so have been in 24 hours and I've just shown my mum! To my surprise, she's okay with it! :(|) It doesn't smell and I've protected the carpet from getting weed on so my mum's happy. :))The pigs have enough room now and can also have floor time in my bedroom! Don't worry I've had the heating off in my room and windows open so that there isn't a big temperature change.

Here's the set up:

That looks great. Lucky piggies. Just one little thing and I may be being over cautious, but I would be a bit concerned about that plug socket and that metal wire panel. Maybe you could get some of those plastic things they sell to stop children putting their fingers in sockets? :)

Thank you, think we've got some somewhere, will have a look! The metal's not actually touching where the plugs go in so I didn't think it was hazardous but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. :)

Bet they think it's great, your piggies are very cute x) Great close up photos!

Gorgeous, I'm really glad you've managed to sort it out! I'll keep an eye out for a hutch on eBay.
Piggies definitely do not smell, even when they poop for England like my boys!

Aw thank you. :) My girls did smell but I've found out why and I'm changing their diet! I'd been giving them a lot of broccoli and brussel sprouts recently and found out that's not good! :red So green pepper, romaine lettuce and tomatoes tonight! :(|)

If you want to price a courier from Swindon to you i have a 5 x 1.5 3 storey hutch just sat in my garden if you want it :)

PM me if you want
