After all I said, I was holding out so well. @alpacasqueak
These two are 5ish months old and needed a home. I got tip off about them and couldn't resist a look. They were living in a 120 x 60cm cage and bickering. The peruvian/peruvian cross? has a couple of nip scabs on his back, they are just very tiny. He is also very underweight, just skin and bone under all that fluff. They are settling in well now they have a bigger cage, we have managed to shoehorn in a 4 x 2 C&C (know it should be 5 x 2 but it's the best I can do at the moment) having dismantled a shelving arrangement in the alcove. Fingers crossed I can keep them happy together.

Meet Freddie and Timmy.

It's my partners fault he persuaded me (didn't need much persuading to be honest). I'm still counting 6 of everything when I prepare veg. He said I would always wonder what happened to them if I didn't take them. Timmy (long haired) reminds me of a boar I had about 20 years ago. He will get a hair cut once he's settled in a bit more. He's called Timmy after the old Timotei advert, he flicks his hair back over his head and out of his eyes, it's so funny. Freddie is completely black on one side and has that stripe and some mottled beige hairs coming through on the other.

Congratulations on the additions. They came to your attention for a good reason. And kudos to your partner for encouraging you 😁

They have landed on their paws. Hope they settle in well.

:yahoo::luv::yahoo:Pictures! Oh my god, they’re both bloody gorgeous Sue :wub:
I absolutely love Timmy’s hair (and brilliant name!), what a little stunner  Freddie has the cutest liccle face too, so pretty
They’re very lucky boys to have come to your house, glad you were persuaded :D Can’t wait to hear all about them, hope they’re good boys for you! xx

I don't want to jynx it but these two are settling in very well, it's already as if they've always been here. Dominance from Freddie has reduced to mild and very normal for a teenager. I've been changing one mat liner every other day, today I decided both were very damp so needed changing. I needn't have worried, two clean mats resulted in popcorning around the cage one behind the other, they are esilly amused! They eat tons of hay and seem to really approve of the soft timothy from haybox. Long may this continue.

Awww so pleased they’ve settled in so well, and that gorgeous Freddie is just being a cheeky teenage boar and not causing trouble too! :luv::luv: They’re so lovely :love: xx

Timmy had his 'tail' and inside leg hair trimmed this afternoon. I noticed his tail dragging behind him looking very damp. I was so glad I got him out of the cage for an inspection even though he's not been here a week yet, he had hair caught up inside 2 very private places it must have been very uncomfortable! He had 2 matts between his back legs, this is going to be a regular job. He was very well behaved having his trim but I thought I'd leave his sides and fringe for another day, didn't want to stress him too much first time round. I gave him a quick check over and weigh while he was out of the cage. He is a very light weight 700gms and does feel very skinny, hopefully he will pick up quickly. They are eating a huge amount of hay, I'm topping their pile up all day, the more I put in the more they eat. I feel I'm being tested! It's lovely to see them eat so well.

Bet they are so happy now they know they have found their forever home, they will be spoilt rotten x

Lexi and Thea were very underweight when they arrived. A decent diet and lots of hay and they soon put weight on. They were very loved in their old home. I just think their old owners didn't understand the importance of hay in their diet as there was none in their C&C cage when I picked them up. I'm sure Timmy and Freddie will soon be their proper weight.

I bet he feels better for having a bit of manscaping done. Well done for tackling it x

Aah poor little Timmy bless him, how sore for him with that stuck in there poor chap. Hopefully now you’re keeping on top of it he’ll be looking and feeling great without a grotty botty and man bits!
Bet it won’t take long for them both to gain now they’ve got some decent grub! Jasper didn’t stop for a good six months when he came as a poor boney boy (300g+ at 3 years old at least!), all because of nonstop hay munching, bet they’ll be chunking up in no time! Keep scoffing gorgeous boys! 🐷 xx

They made me happy this morning, they joined in the grass time song! Very little weak squeaks from the corner but they knew something was going on. The others all sing when I touch the back door.
The way they are going through hay I am going to have to up my Haybox order.
