My best friend is always making jokes that I am like a first-time mother with real (human) twins even though we're both only sixteen, and she says I'll be well practised by the time I have "real" children with all the worrying, faffing and spoiling of the pigs I do.

(even though Poldark and Sage totally are my sons anyway)

Well. Usually I'd tell her that was sooooo mean, I just want to do a good job, and then I was cleaning their grease glands today and drying them off and she started crying with laughter and I couldn't understand why... when she took a photo it all became clear.....

I look like someone giving their baby its first bath. That same proud, excited expression.

And then I was looking through other pictures of me and the pigs....

And we took this one about three days after we got them. My Mum said at the time "You look like it's been a long and hard labour"

I'M A 16 YEAR OLD MUM
Does this give me permission to drop out of school?

Haha :) But that's lovely. Your friend may laugh, but it really is wonderful to see how much you love looking after your fur-babies. And I think many of us can relate! I know I can :) xx
You have very lucky piggies indeed.

They look after me in many ways, so the way I see it it's a fair exchange :) people who don't have pigs just can't relate the same XD
Thank you for saying so, I spend so much time worrying that they're ill or unhappy.... it's a new illness every day! x

It's a shame they're not more of Poldark and Sage than me, but my granny who loves guinea pigs is always very excited to receive emails with pictures like those in! x
