Has anybody else experienced one of their piggy's changing colour. I got Minnie from Bekki in april last year & she was definitely ginger as in this picture taken with Minky shortly after.

By November she had changed to brown as in this picture with Mother & Mitch.

Could it be something in her diet or some health issue. It's really strange. She's somewhere over 5 years old. Can't be exact as she's changed hands four times so could even be 6.

Ginger piggies hair does lose its brightness. My peronel had brown patches and I bathed her thinking it was dirt!

Yes, it might be to do with age. A bit like human going grey as they get older. You wouldn't believe those pics were taken just 9 months apart

I knew a horse who changed colour and it turned out to be a mineral deficiency.....copper i think, but i am sure thats not the case with your pig!

My Capy went from really brown to bright orange. We used to call him our little flame belly :)

Reg is black & white but his back is going grey now.

Glinda was a really light blonde when I got her, and then she started turning brown. I thought she was grubby but no amount of bathing has changed her back. We joke that she is proof that you are what you eat, because she LOVES her hay and now she is hay-coloured!

How strange.
My girl Sherbet is silver and white but most of her white patches are now a greyish colour. I think it's just muck, though how she's managed to get the white stripe down her nose dirty is beyond me and with it being so close to her eyes I cant really wash her there. Though seeing the change in colour of your pig maybe she is just changing colour.
