The potatoes are eating pieces of their noodle mats🫣

Hi there. Does anyone else’s gangs do this? They are pooping ok and eating normalThey have toys that they chew and throw. They get cuddle time on the couch too.

Mine are ok with noodle mats but I recently got a new rug which Kiki is very interested in and keeps pulling out the odd strand. I am keeping a very keen eye on her

Could you use fleece mats instead?

Oh yes for sure. They like to play in the piles of noodle mats. The chewing does not happen all the time. I will keep an eye on them. I wonder if it is when sometimes the hay gets low? Thanks for the suggestion

I had a noodle mat muncher. He munched on everything - mats, correx, cage bars - despite hay, willow sticks, wooden tunnels I removed any loose ones that he’d nibbled before he could eat them. But once he’d nibbled a few in each corner he’d stop - never nibbled any in the middle of the mat.
