Senior Guinea Pig
I am delighted to announce that the Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue has now been approved as a Piggy Bank recommended rescue.
The Piggy Bank rescues strive to set a high standard of care and environment for the animals while they are in rescue, no links to breeding/showing, a comprehensive knowledge of the animals in their care, on-going support and advice for adopters and a commitment to work together with other rescues to help when called upon.
The Piggy Bank members are all volunteers who give their time and passion in order to help the animals in need of rescue by alerting the PB to those in need, assisting with hands on help during rescues, transport to/from rescue site/temp accommodation/rescues, provide temporary accommodation when needed or general rescue support. They also help by raising rescue awareness by sharing the Piggy Bank UK page, so that more and more people become rescue aware and the rescues they contact are of a good standard.
The Potteries GP Rescue details are now logged on the Piggy Bank recommended rescue map.
