Grrr at first I was just super sad but now I have just hit the super mad stage.
I feel a little sad that his sisters where the ones to go but I know its an awesome forever home! I'm starting to get attached... I know I shouldn't but I am .... I think that's why I just cant name him other wise I will just end up with a massive keep pile!

I think it would be next to impossible NOT to get attached. Thing is - in order to rescue an animal and invest your time and money into the animal's recovery/rehabilitation you must surely care very much to be willing to do so. But because you care so much it's almost impossible not to get attached.
Will the new home give you updates from time to time? x

New home constantly gives updates and I love that could not have found a better home.
The others i can give names and mother hen them but with him.... oh he is tugging on my heart strings so much.

Oh good luck! Post some pics afterwards.
They were so funny last night, they kept popcorning into each other like little bumper cars. Lol.

Super bad news unfortunately after putting the carpet in and the piggles, I looked to the girls as there was a lot of weeking yesterday I put acorn in with them she is still nursing but its been almost two weeks since she gave birth I feel super stupid now as I found half a premature pup.
I don't know who did it but I'm super worried that Acorn nursing may have braught it on.
Gah! I'm SO stupid!
I have separated her but its stretching the indoor housing again.
If that damn company just sold the clips on there own I would NOT have this problem!
I have asked around and I cant find them any where I'm just going to have to buy more panels I don't want just for the clips -flails-
At least now that I'm getting the cages and rising them into pairs or trio's it will not happen again and expectant mothers will go on there own or with females that are due round about the same time.
If anyone and I mean ANYONE has any spare clips I am 100% interested in buying them of you!
As for me back to making a call to the Vet to book ALL the girls in x-x Yay more vet fees XD

You can use cable ties to connect the grids. Use two or three to really lock it in place.

Wow! You are doing an amazing job!

Thanks guys all of the males are now up of the floor XD it looks like the girls have the ground floor.

Oh that is so sad, but you weren't to know. As Crystella said you can use cable ties to fasten the grids together. They are really cheap.

I find with cable ties they are just not as stable a lot of my piggies nudge and hit it with there nose and it ends up in an odd shape or they escape!

Oh I'm sorry. It's not your fault. Having no experience of pregnant guinea pigs I only know what I have read, so I can't really claim to know it at all, but some information states that indeed a birthing or nursing mother can bring on labour in another, but I have also read that it's a good idea to put those mothers in together who are nearing birth due to sharing the load with each other in terms of nursing. What to do for the best, eh? Sometimes we only know that with hindsight. It could have worked out well. It may even be coincidental and that she would have birthed the pup too early no matter what. Please don't kick yourself over it, you are doing a fantastic job in a situation that appears to be somewhat overwhelming. You really are doing great, just think of those lives you have saved, including the pups you reared yourself, and the lives you improved dramatically (all of them) - I'm confident that some of those piggies would have died if you had not taken them when you had, and that's not including the pups you raised.
You truly are a life saver. Not everything is going to go smoothly, but take a step back and look at what you have achieved, it's wonderful what you have done!

I have heard of birthing but not nursing affecting that but I guess we all have to learn such a shame that it may of caused that :(
The Boys went to the vet and Booch! a male I wanted to keep has an abscess -flails- he is on Metacam and salt washes for now @-@
All the others are healing super fast and a cut the vet was a little worried about on cremello has healed completely!
Turns out, Cabbage is a natural antibiotic!

Oh my God sweetheart I am so sorry
At least you have them know and you can do everything you can to make a healthy and happy you can't rescue them all
I would do everything to shut her down

Yeah its all done and dusted now all i need to do is make sure they get a good home.

This was so sad to read you really are an angel! That woman is a cruel human being! I am so glad you were there to save those piggies. I always find myself looking on those sort of sites to see what is going on with the guinea pigs.
I can't believe she had no shame and just let you see them in those disgusting states not even bothered to clean them out! Just shows she doesn't give a crap! How's the rehoming going? Are they getting any better? Please keep us updated as I'd love to hear more about them x
