The sticky up ears club

Hello. I am Liesl. I live indoors with my husboar Twiglet Piglet and my friends Suki, Lacey Possum, Honey Bunch and Fenchurch. I am an extremely beautiful piggy, just not in the conventional/cheerleader sort of way. I have a narrow, angular shaped body and never get podgy like some piggies I could mention (Honey Bunch). I also have bright shiny eyes that look like they stick out of my head a bit. But best of all I have wonderful sticky up ears, like guinea pigs should have, like our ancestors did. Much better for hearing properly.

The thing is all my friends have on trend droopy ears and I'm told none of the pigs in the piggy shed have sticky up ears either. Apparently a lot more piggies used to have sticky up ears but most hoomans prefer droopy ears and big cow eyes because they look "cute" and pigs like me look "ratty" (which apparently is an insult). Words fail me. You will see in my photos how utterly adorable I am.

So I would like to start a club for pigs like me. Eligibility is as follows:
Adult pigs with sticky up ears can join.
Yoing pigs with ears that stick up can join BUT may have to leave if their ears start to droop as they grow up.
Unfortunate souls who had their ears chewed off when born, so look like their ears stick up can join.
Pigs with sticky outy ears that neither droop or stick up MAY be allowed to join but this will depend on other membership numbers.

Aww Liesl, I love your ears. Unfortunately you are right. Piggies with sticky up ears are not as common as they used to be.

My very first piggy Molly had beautiful ears like yours.


And Freja even was a cover girl (a rodent magazine) once.


But my current group are all droopy eared.

I am a rescue piggy so am keeping my age a secret but I am not a baby piggy. I will do my best to stand still for a photo but will have to ask for a special snack first!
