on our way to the local shops we noticed one of the houses had a ferplast 'cavie 80' cage out on the lawn. i thought it a bit bizarre to have an indoor cage outside....
anyhow that was two weeks ago, this week the cage had been dragged to the side of the shed....and now we could see it was terribly dirty, full of rotten water, obviously put out for the rubbish!

so i went and knocked on the door and asked for it, 'take it' they said, so i did...went home, cleaned it up and it looks like new! it still has the shop stickers on the side so couldnt have been used long :(
but hey ho, free 'new' cage....it will come in handy!

similar to this but in a lovely blue shade http://www.petcentreonline.co.uk/ecommerce/scripts/prodView~idproduct~732.htm

will be fantastic for a mum and babies, or sick piggys that need seperating!

I have two of those cages, they are fine, and really easy to clean.

Yesterday from freecycle, I got a brand new, still in the box, Mamas and Pappas musical bouncy chair, and a (very nearly) new Fisher Price Open Rain Forest Baby swing. All for nothing. We are having to get FOUR of some things for the twins so we can have stuff here for visits and stuff at their home up in the Lakes. Anyone got any high chairs? lol x

I got a lovely hutch and run from Freecycle here too, at the weekend - it's going to be the bunny shack!

Amazing what people don't want!

Congratulations!

Sadly, I have nothing I can contribute.

Lucky you, Spishkey! Any freebie is worth getting excited about but piggy paraphernalia is particularly fab!

I recently got a dressmakers dummy from Freecycle - only used once and looks like new. I'm not exactly a dab hand when it comes to sewing (if I can't even summon up the courage to attempt to make a cozy, I doubt I could make a dress!) but I'll use it to sell a load of clothes on ebay, as I'm broke! :)

Sometimes I get real gems off freecycle, lots of times though it should have gone to the tip when I get there to pick it up I go via the tip on the way home lol

Lots of my hutches came from there and have been adapted to bigger, better ones but you need a sounds base to work from.

You did well there hun, stop the land fill!

Well done, what a great find!

I got four of my cages from freecycle so I feel very lucky, mind you we give a ot of things up on it too!
