I'm sitting here tearing up cardboard boxes for bedding for the mice, rats, hamsters and gerbils. Piggys love a good munch on them too!

My hands and wrists are aching!

What things do you do for your animals that people think are strange? lol

I work behind a bar and was so upset when another barmaid started ripping up a cardboard box on saturday night, I bring them home and fill them with hay and put in the hutches, also use them for shelters in the outdoor runs.

The other barmaid looked at me like I was nuts when I started sticking it back together, unfortunately it was past saving.:)):)):))

Sometimes I run low on newspapers, so if I am on a train, I will go up and down collecting old newspapers. :))

i got excited over a parsley plant i got yesterday my daughter though i'd gone mad :)p

Paid alot of money for an extension for the piggies as the shed was not big enough and too cold in winter, they have their own UPVC door complete with letter box LOL That makes people think I'm bonkers.

Also i collect empty boxes from Asda pulling them off the shelves saying thats a great one for the pigs, yes i get funny looks.:(|)

I made some lttle curtains to give my pigs some privacy in their new C & C set up. I told my family yesterday and now they think I'm losing the plot (again). x

My best moment was dragging my mum and dad on the great coroplast mission of 2008, never thought the stuff would be so hard to find!

I'm often found on the common with 3 things, a bike, sharp knife and a plastic bag. I ride around until I find a good plot, then I'm bent over cutting grass with the energy of a farmer tending their crop. I used to get really embarrassed, but these days I ignore all the watchful eyes (I live in London so no escaping those) and just picture my pigs eating it!

"Mowing" my lawn with scissors to keep my piggies happy when the weather isn't good enough for them to go out - the looks I get from the neighbours! My lawn hasn't seen a mower since spring 2008...

hehe my husband thinks I'm loosing the plot and he's only home for saturday and half of sunday! - if only he could what I do for those piggies in the week! :(|):(|)
