The things we do for our piggies!

Allsorts! Today it was rebuilding a cage (C&C) so two could live safely together apart. It has taken all day, along with trips to the garden runs and complete fleece changes in the other two cages. Just brought everyone back in and realised it's Friday, health check and weigh in day and I haven't done it! As piggies are all settled now and I'm exhausted tomorrow will have to do!

Everytime I fill the hayrack, Lady Piggle spends an hour carefully pulling all the hay onto the cage floor one strand at a time. Then she looks sad and wheeks for more hay, and I always rush in and fill it up again feeling guilty because the hayrack is empty, even though she's sitting in the middle of a pile of uneaten hay! Piggies take us for idiots, and we dont mind a bit :)

Back when I was in hospital Comet decided to get a major fluffed up look going on, he didn't look happy at all and I wasn't happy either but...hospital. I ended up ringing the vet to make him an appointment for the following day and had a huge row with the hospital staff that "I'm taking him to the vet, deal with it, he's going AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME."

...got him to the vet and he was generally okay. One issue, but nothing that required vet attention for him urgently. 10/10 would still have a row with the hospital staff again.
