Hywel has joined the girls yesterday afternoon since he has recovered well enough from his near death illness two weeks ago. He is still very thin, though, and will probably take some time to put the weight back on. But he is no longer in pain. None of the girls is currently in or near season, so it doesn't really matter whether he does join two days earlier than planned!

As he has been socialising increasinlgy with the girls over the last few days (whenever it was safe), things have gone pretty smoothly. There was quite a scuffle with a very grumpy Nerys, but as she isn't the top sow and the others have all accepted Hywel, they are cautiously getting along now.

Aww, what wonderful photo's and video's x)x) Hywel certainly seems to be making himself at home and it is great to see him looking so well (despite the weight loss). I'm sure grumpy Nerys will swallow her pride soon :) xx
 
I'm so happy that he is doing much better and is finally with the ladies! Nerys needs to save herself for Lentil though ;)

Absolutely fantastic. Am so pleased he is settling into the tribe well.
 
Lovely to see him looking so well, after all he's been through. And great to see him so well merged into the Trible.
 
Glad he's feeling better and loving all the pics..but the one of Caron with her golden curls is gorgeous:D
 
Oh, Wiebke - he is absolutely adorable! I love the video of him exploring his cage! He seems to be very inquisitive and looks really happy in spite of his recent problems, which is so lovely to see!

I've so enjoyed looking at the pics and videos. Hywel looks such a happy and healthy little guy now. It's hard to believe he was so poorly just a couple of weeks ago. He must think all his birthdays have come at once now he has such beautiful lady friends.
 
Hywel is still short of at least 100g of lost body weight, but he is looking and behaving like his old self again and indeed as a happy as a pig in clover (German saying)! Even a few days ago, I would not have thought it possible. :))
 
He's looking very well all things considered, you'd never know he'd been poorly.

I love all your piggles, but have a soft spot for Caron the walking wig :)

Hes gorgeous I'm so so pleased that you got him through i just knew hed be fine the thought of all those girls had to get him through.

Hes so handsome. Looking forward to seeing lots more pics of Hywel and his girlies.

Love all the pigtures and videos. So glad he's all better and what a lucky boy he is having all those lovely ladies vying for his attention. He's such a cutie.
