The ups and downs of a terminal diagnosis

We have some tramadol to try, it works on a different pathway to buprenorphine and pathways can become 'blocked' which is what the vet suspects for the pathway buprenorphine has done which is why she's no longer responding to it, hopefully the tramadol pathway isn't blocked and this will help a lot 😊 looks like her arthritis has progressed to her spine too which is why she's having falls where she'll be walking normally then suddenly it's like one side just gives way and she falls on her side 😢 it could also be neurological or the tumour could be pressing on things as it's grown but the signs of spine arthritis are there 😔😣 drinking is definitely pain 😢

Everything crossed for the tramadol 🤞🤞

Thankyou everyone, I don't want to jinx it but so far so good 😁 I'm so happy 💞 I feel a million times better after talking with the vet and getting a better understanding on things too, it was so stressful and worrying last week when the drinking ramped up so high again and it appeared the buprecare had stopped working and even worse Wednesday night when she fell I was going out of my mind a bit 🙈 I feel much more level headed after a chat with the vet and seeing some improvement, long may it continue 😍😍 I got a bigger bottle of metacam too 😁 so proud of her she's such a tough cookie 😍
