My two boars Furball and Patch over the past few weeks have been urinating EVERYWHERE in their cage. When cleaning them out it gets stuck to the bottom of the cage and it just generally smells... Is it marking their territory? And if so.. What's the best way to make them stop?
Thanks if you can help!

Pigs will be pigs! you cant make them stop I am afraid - you just have to keep on top of the cleaning - I have 7 pigs who live in the lounge - it is definitely more noticeable in the hot weather though.

I've got one boy currently living by himself and he only pees in certain areas, he's very tidy! His pee don't half honk though!

And I have five girls who just pee EVERYWHERE!

I've got my girls and boy on fleece, puppy pads and newspaper. Fleece gets cleaned up everyday, washed once a week and puppy pads changed ever other day and newspaper when it needs changing

Very hard to break that habit I'm afraid. When you say it sticks to the bottom of the cage, do you line the cage at all? I use newspaper then bedding. You could look at using some some plastic corner things...here's my Blossom (RIP) who fell asleep in hers.

I found that having the food bowl and copious amounts of hay close by encouraged them to sit in it and toilet their as well...they love nothing better than eating & pooping etc around the same place...

I line all my litter trays with newspaper and my rat cages and this makes it easier and stops everything sticking. What bedding do you use? Some smells more than others
