What a world of difference a few days makes. I feel so much better and took the opportunity to wash all the windows outside in the sunshine while Aperol and Espresso lounged in the long grass, munching and judging where I’d missed a bit! They had freshly picked chard as an extra snack when they got back to their indoor cages. Happy days!

Mission Pee Sample Submission is complete! Hoping it will reveal what is going on with Espresso. Aperol does not approve of her waving her wet stinky bum in his face!
She is on the lower end weight wise (950g) but seems very happy otherwise. They’ve just been sunbathing in the long grass while I cleaned out their cages.

Well I tried to put the syringe near her mouth and she starts pretending to have seizures so it’s going to be a very long wheek! She perked up after I gave her Emeraid after though (and stopped pretending to have a fit) 🙄
Meanwhile, Aperol is begging at the side of his cage thinking he’s missing out on treats!
 
I was petting Aperol earlier and noticed he is still losing fur and he squealed when I touched his back. There’s lots of flakes of skin there so I don’t think the mites problem has completely cleared since I got him. It’ll be back on the phone to the vets on Monday to sign him up to their health care plan now!
