I lost my gran today so going to console myself with piggy cuddles (and ignore their reluctance!). It’s also time to start cleaning their cages again. I do this over two days now so it’s less of a big job and they get two days of play dates in a row. Poor Aperol!

Aperol decided to play hide and seek this morning…hoping this isn’t the start of another bad habit alongside his chewing the bars trying to get to Espresso.

Certainly not what I’m needing at the moment…but I’ve found a mysterious lump on Aperol’s rear side above his right hind leg Of course, I’ve contacted the vets to make an appointment. I guess this is why those weekly health checks are crucial (something I’ve sadly neglected recently)

Yes. But in times of high stress I didn't always manage either, much to my regret when some illness or other cropped up. Of course it's ideal to continue with them and I'm sure many here on the forum do, but please remain gentle and forgiving with yourself over this. You've had a lot on your plate recently.

Thank you lovely, no point beating myself up about it like you say. I just hope it’s nothing serious but will see what the vet says.
