Their first Carrot Cottage

I really baulked at spending almost £10 (ebay) on a cardboard box covered in glue, which is why, at 11 months old, this is our poor deprived piggies' first one. It is mentioned so much on this forum that I thought it probably wouldn't be wasted money. I checked in on them earlier and they were so busy with that cottage that they *forgot it was nuggets time* 😲 I would have completely got away with not giving them any had I not accidentally clinked something!
We buy a carrot cottage and 2 large haycubes every month on Amazon subscribe and save, its a big saving like under £6 for a haycube and under £7 for the carrot cottage... and they never get bored of them- plus they can play in and eat the Amazon cardboard delivery boxes too if you take the tape off! :)

Win win. :yahoo:

@PigglePuggle Lucky piggies! Does all this only last them a month though? How many do you have? I was hoping their carrot cottage might last a little longer ... but perhaps not given the structural modifications that have already occurred in a day and a half. And yep, I’ve also saved the cardboard box it came in!

We have 8 piggies, the main herd of 6 can make a haycube or carrot cottage last at least a couple of weeks, but mad little naked skinny pig Tallulah and her husband can eat a whole one in 3 days!
