Saysie
Adult Guinea Pig
I've only just realised the post I did yesterday didn't show what I had written, as the forum crashed on me just after I wrote it.
I just wanted to update everyone on how Thelma is doing. She's getting a lot better, the squeaks are fewer and quieter. She's a lot brighter and was even running laps around the cage like a lunatic yesterday morning
We went to the vet yesterday and the urine sample showed that there is no more blood in the urine! :laluot_15: Although it is still a little gritty. We think the Cartrophen injections have really helped with the pain, and she had another one yesterday, and will have another one in about 3weeks to keep on top of it. I'm going to continue with the Cystease. Keeping fingers firmly crossed that she stays well.
Of course Louise has decided the she would like to see the vet now with a recurring eye problem mallethead
There was a time when I really didn't think Thelma would get better and I want to thank everyone for your support, kind words and advice, it helped so much.
