The girls have moved into the shed for the winter but I would like to put a thermometer in the hutch to monitor and make sure they are cosy enough, is there a specific one anyone would recommend?
Many thanks in advance.

I just have fwo standard greenhouse thermometers - one within the hutch and another in the shed itself (so that I can tell whether it’s warm enough in the shed for them to come out of the hutch and to play).

We have used one very similar to the one @Betsy has recommended when we’ve had piggies outdoors. You can set limits so it will notify you if the temperature is either too high or low. I’ll try and find the link to ours later on for you.

Thank you everyone, have just been out to check them this evening and despite it blowing an absolute gale here it's not too cold, they appear to be nice and toasty. Thanks @Betsy for the link, that looks good.

I find that my shed sits about five degrees warmer than outside temperature so that helps a lot - 19 degrees in my boys shed tonight. Very windy here tonight too. Tomorrow night onwards the overnight temperature is set to plummet - let the extra winter warmth measures commence!

I'm so pleased that my lot are now in the garage! It is around 5 -10 degrees warmer in there than outside. It is the first winter they will be inside.

Those extra few degrees from being inside a shed or garage really help when keeping inside the hutch warmer. I’m looking forward to getting my new shed for my two as I can make that much more insulated than I can my current shed

My garage is insulated apart from the roof and the door and it is surrounded well by plants :)
