Its always amused us how Pippin and Gladys at floor time have never stepped off their big rug...Until tonight ! It was so funny, they were chattering away and i swear Gladys was saying ' Go on Pip, you go first .. I am not going ' lol....

Mine have a pen that attaches to the cage (though I'd love to free-range them). The front of the cage can fold down either all the way to the floor or fold to be just 13cm high for easy-cleaning. I know Sunrise can jump over this as she has done while I've been setting up the pen. She knows it's pen-time when I get the panels out and can get quite excited about it, and has been known to jump into it before I've lowered the cage door all the way down. However, she has NEVER attempted to jump out or even looked like she's thinking about it when the pen is not in place, even though she can when it's lowered to 13 cm. I think they know which spaces are theirs and anything outside of that is treated with upmost caution
