They wheeked at me!

For the first time ever, my girls wheeked at me when I went out to top up their hay x) After 3 weeks of owning them it was wonderful to hear, made me feel so happy and loved by them as well, even if it is only cupboard love :(|) I am so so very glad I got piggies and even though I'd originally wanted babies I adore my girls, they are the best xoxo
 
Awww how lovely! They are obviously feeling very settled. There is something so special about being wheeked at, I have had piggies for over 2years now and I still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when they wheek at me :)
 
Ahhh, they are training me so well! Their hutch is close to the back door, and cos it was open they saw me walk past it. Wheeked like crazy so I had to go and give them a treat :(|) Soon they will have me so well trained that when they want something, they just wheek and I come running. I live to serve :))
 
:)):)) I'm a slave to the wheeking. Every morning when i go down and open the fridge they wheek until the veggies are produced :)):)) And if they hear me chopping they wheek too. Or if I'm topping up the hay... or rustling a packet!:))
 
It's a fantastic sound and I'm over the moon they wheeked at me! It's taken them 3 weeks but it was well worth the wait! I know I am fast becoming a slave to the wheek, cunning little creaturesx)
 
Aww I am so happy for you. I remember my first time too and it is so special. :)

It is such a wonderful sound, only piggie lovers could understand how magical your first wheek is :(|) It just makes everything even more worthwhile. Those little piggies have completely stolen my heart x)
 
mine do when ever anyone russles a tesco bag or the bag the veg is packed in lol they have even been known to weeeekkk at my hubs whilst he was eating a very crunchy salad in the garden! lol

Saffy gave me a bit of a wheek when I was cleaning them out, but Ginny just looks at me! She lifts her head, moves forward a little and gazes at me. Could be the incessant baby chatter I do when around them :(|)
 
Hubby told me the girls wheeked at him this morning! He was very pleased and quite delighted I think, as it was the first thing he said to me :(|) They are turning us both into slaves to the wheek and we love it x)
 
Awrh I know how you feel, my latest two now start wheeking at me when they see me, then they get scared and charge back in their hidey hole and let the bigger ones carry on with the wheeking until the food is produced, then they sneak out and start munching again. Such a lovely feeling!

As soon as my lot hear the kitchen tap turn on or the backdoor open they're off. I think my neighbours must hate me because as soon as the guineas start wheeking, this signals to the rabbits that it's feeding time and they start charging around and throwing their food bowl about making a racket. And remember, this all happens at about 7am!

Those crazy wheekers have been at it again! I was having snuggles with them last night when hubby decides he's hungry and wants to make some chips. As soon as the girls hear him rustling the bag, heads shoot up and they start wheeking. Of course we had to give them lettuce to get them to settle down again. Think they have us wrapped round their little toes :(|)

:)) i'm the same! I always have parcels arriving and he's no longer surprised when it's a piggy cosy or toy or food item...the list goes on!:)):))
