Junior Guinea Pig
I love my two girls, I really do. It’s especially funny watching the two interact as compared to them interacting with me. Roxy is the older of the two, over a year old as compared to Jane’s meager four months. She is bossy and obnoxious, often chasing Jane around and making a fuss. She eats like her life depends on it, and has the unfortunate habit of screaming whenever she wants lettuce. But whenever she is taken out for cuddle time, she becomes mellow and sweet as can be. She’ll pancake on me and let me carry her around on my shoulder like my pirate companion. Here’s two pictures, evil and not-so-evil:

One of her consistencies is her laziness. All she does is sit around all day, no matter what the circumstances. On the other hand, Jane is hyperactive and gets easily spooked. She’ll run around and chitter quietly until she’s all tired out. Rarely she will allow herself to be held, but she tends to be a squirmy little thing and starts to cry for
Roxy when she’s out for too long. The two have a funny sort of love-hate relationship. It’s like they can’t stand each other, but they need each other. However, what isn’t funny is being awoken by their petty quarrels at two in the morning. Jane is usually quiet, but she can have quite the big mouth. When she uses it, you’d think she’s dying, when more often than not it’s little more than a minor inconvenience. Here’s a picture of her adorned in a lovely blue hood.

Oh, and for a bonus, some guinea pig socks I got for Christmas! Sadly none of the piggies on them look quite like my own (the brown one vaguely looks like Jane), but I still appreciate the intent.
