they're PIRANHA'S :(|)
After their deep clean this morning and patiently waiting for breakfast, the piggies had corn on the cob as a treat alongside their other noms.
Phew - just managed to get my hand out of the pens in time before they attacked the pods ripping the husks off in a frenzy :x
Sat and had a deserved cuppa after loading the washer and popped my head around to see how they were enjoying their treats...all that was left was a stalk and a few scattered kernels :{...oh - and very full, happy piggies ;)

Wow they ate that fast! Mine take a few hours to eat a corn on the cob!:))

Do you put a whole corn in the cob in? I bought one once but I couldn't cut it very well and the juice went everywhere...

You can put a whole cob in, including silk and husk - but obviously more like an occasional/seasonal treat, as sweetcorn is quite starchy.

Ohh I see. Thank you.

I never attempted again after my first try as they had a few nibbles but never seemed keen on it.

I gave my five a corn on the cob once, it felt like it was gone in less than 30seconds! Might go and get them another one tomorrow actually!

I always think of the corn as a winter food :{ but only available in the warmer months rolleyes
