truly.

My boys Tim and Giz literally run away when it's offered and I've tried multiplie times.

I've heard good things about bell peppers, and the vitamin C would be great for them, as they hardly touch their Oxbow vitamin c tablets. (And i've stopped putting the vitamin c in their water as suggested by many, even though they'd emptied their water bottles anyway.)

Should i take them of their regular veggies for a day or so in order to get them to try it?

I would appreciate any advice on how to get them to at least try it :)

My two wouldn't even try the bell peppers for the first two months I got them but I kept persevering with it (and chucking it out) because of the vit c and now they love it. They must of not liked the smell of them or something because they would not even have a nibble. They were so fussy with anything food related for the first couple of months but there isn't alot they wont eat now. I would just keep offering it and hopefully they will eventually like it.

Mine were the same with coriander to start with. They literally ran across the cage to avoid it, and now they will take your fingers off to get a piece!
You are right that bell peppers are a great source of Vitamin C, so I would just keep offering them in their usual vegetable mix, and I m sure eventually they will learn to love them.
They are complex little creatures, aren't they?

In my herd, the older set of of girls (Spice and Cinnamon) wouldn't touch bell peppers even tho my sister had said they ate them for her. Keep trying and finally after dicing it into cubes the fussy sods tucked into as if to say this is how we like it, bite sized. They have now progressed beyond this but it was the starting point. So try cutting it up into different sizes/shapes

My boars took 10 months to eat peppers and now eat a bit most days. They take ages to try any new foods and often go off the ones they have liked for a while. They won't touch foods that are favourites with other forum piggies like corriander and blueberries Idon't tell Eddi). I often feel like I'm :hb:.
