Thickened Bladder And Uterus Wall

Thank you both :) I've booked her in for Monday for the operation. Feeling quite anxious about it.

I'm feeling a little less certain today because she seemed very well last night - she was doing some 'fast running' and there wasn't any blood. But I think it's probably best to go ahead with the operation because the problem has been coming and going for a long time, and she did start bleeding again despite the antibiotics. Do you have any thoughts?

if the problem seems to be on and off and you think she will end up having further tests or the op at some point anyway, then maybe doing it now is best for her long term care, and because she has been doing better? and if two vets agree on the problem and the treatment then it feels like that is the best course of action. but you know her best and if you feel that by monday she seems alot better, there is no harm in you speaking with the vet again and discussing it and even postponing it for a while. i find i get more of a gut feel on the day whether something feels right. i mean aside from the usual worry and anxiety - just something inside makes you either do it or not. x

That's a good point about her being well for the operation. She has the best chance of doing well during and afterwards if she's in good health overall.

I am almost certain the blood will come back, probably relatively quickly, if she doesn't have the operation. Yes I still think it's the best option, it's just not quite as clear cut as it was earlier in the week.
