Laura i LOVE this! It had me chuckling away! Oooooh i want another hammy now! Thimble is just sooo cute! I do miss my Reginald! Want to see a pic of my little guy? He's at the bridge now but i still think about him regularly :)

Awwwwwww Reginald please can i see a pic? :)) I love my little man, i try not to think about him going over the bridge i know that hammys dont live very long :(

Hhahaha! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Is he/she settle in well? Does your guest also wake you up at three in the morning chucking nuts at the plastic so you get up and feed him?

Hahaha, love it I used to have loads of Hammy's when growing up all called 'Hammy' of course! rolleyes!

Hehehe :)) A few years back now, I was looking after my god monthers kids hamster for two weeks, the little boy then aged six put his hamster and cage in the room and I went 'awww what a lovely little hamster whats his name then?"

The little lad looked at me, then his mum, rolled his eyes and said "Well durr Hammy, what else?"

:)) haha i shall remember for future reference all hamsters are called Hammy. :))

He was such a darling, you could call his name whatever time of the day and his little head would pop out from his bed x)
 
Aw, both Thimble and Reginald are adorable, I love the fact that they are like miniature humans (possibly more clever than us, though;) when they exploring things.Need to see my Stephen now but it is very addictive to go through all teh pictures here:o

Reginald, what a brilliant name for a beautiful hamster x) isnt he such a sweeite? He looks like he was a cheeky hamster too! :) lovely photos!

I have Puck the hamster who is also gorgeous but not nearly as tame as Thimble, any tips?

Hehe, he was Laura, I was totally heartbroken when I lost him, I couldn't handle it and my OH had to look after him in his last moments, then he was nearly in tears:(, so hard! Now back to the beautiful Thimble x)drool
 
I can't even begin to describe how cute that is. :<>

Oooo Puck i remember puck tis been a while since ive seen pics....drool

Haha! When my future sister in law went to get him he actually screamed down the pet shop and hissed at the poor bloke trying to catch him, hes also bitten the vet and hissed at her too. Not the easiest hamster to work with.

:)) I started by dangling my hand in the cage for two 15 min sessions a night, and then worked this up to touching his back and letting him explore my hands.

Hes still not a fan of being carried so i just pop him in his ball and transport him that way, I also hand feed him on the morning nuts and seeds etc. and on the evenings play games with him (usually hide nuts and seeds in the woodshavings and 'dig' with thimble, he enjoys this very much :))

:( 8... I dont want to lose my hamster, hes very much part of my life tis awful when you lose a beloved pet :( buut you always have memories :)
