Popcorn has had a bit of a sniffle and has been off her food , so i got some sudafed as my first port of call.

Anyway when l picked her up to give her the med l felt a very small but distinct lump in her tummy

Absolutely nothing to do with Marges poo problem , just pure rotten luck

John said to me a few years ago , l have spend enough mony per year for him to buy a car .
I am begining to realize what he means

NB anyone new reading this, l run a special needs guinea pig sanctuary , so it would follow that my vet costs are high.

If anyone has a pig with poo problems , might be an idear to carfully palpate the tummy , though if in any doubt ask the vet nurse or another compident keeper

They only have vets operating on thursday , but i have booked popcorn in with sally as john is no in till friday

I am sorry for your additional problems with Popcorn!I hope that the lump is not very bad news and that it is not one of the very fast growing ones.

Please accept that our forum advice to have any sniffling/wheezing/crackling guinea pig seen by a vet promptly. We have had guinea pigs die because their owners waited just that bit too long.

Personally, I have not found that sudafed makes any real difference if it just a case of a stuffy nose from something like the dust from the bottom of a hay bag. It can also be counterproductive if overused.

Popcorn is quirter the she was , l just hope she is on the mend ,
l just canot undersand the mecanisam that conects a lump in her tummy to poo problems and the loss of co ordination problem s ?
I think i am overthinking and there is no conection , l just whish i knew what to do .
