Things Aren't Looking So Good...

Piper physically can't move. She will try but fall on to her side. There is nothing a vet can do. I think we might have to say goodbye to one of my best friends. Spending all the time i can with her . Her body just feel limp and nothing i try to give her will work to get slid into her. When i push on her belly she seems to be in discomfort. I'm not sure whats going on.

Please keep Piper and Pippa in your prayers!
 
Has the vet seen her? Biscuit injured herself and couldn’t move (at one point she rolled on her back and had to be rescued). Let the vet decide - Biscuit after 2 episodes of this is running around fine. Could she have had a fall?

2 mins. later Piper took her last breath in my arms. She was sick will an untreatable illness that is still unknown. I could have her body checked out but i would rather have her be in peace now. I may take pippa to the vet to make sure she doesn't have an illness and then debate on weather another guinea pig is suitable for Pippa.
Heaven sure did gain an angel.
 
I feel for you as have been in this situation and it's so upsetting. Did you manage to get a vet appointment? When my piggy was very ill and not eating I managed to tempt him with a bit of ripe banana. If she's got bloat a gentle tummy massage may help her too. x

Sorry we happened to post at the same time... So sorry for your loss, glad you were with her to comfort her til the end. Rest in peace little Piper x
 
I'm so sorry for your loss. :( It is so hard to watch. I've been there too. RIP Piper. Lots and lots of ((HUGS.))
