Think it will have to be rehoming.

I had a previous thread on here about my boys fighting.

It's now turned out that they are not getting along at all, and I think that rehoming them would be the best thing to do.
I am absolutely devastated to have to do this, but I really haven't any other options :0

Damon (who seems to be getting attacked by everyone) is going to have to go off and find himself another group and someone to give him the best home possible. It breaks my heart that he will have to go but I can't keep him on his own.

I also have 3 other boars (Stefan, Eddie and Cookie) who unfortunately too I am going to have to try and rehome. I can't have the risk of them carrying on fighting, and as I am moving soon, I think it would be unfair on them travelling with me.

I'm asking for any advise on whether I am making the right decision here. I've tried to speak to others but they're giving me mixed views.

I really haven't much option. It's causing huge arguments in my family, and I'm just so upset by them
I adore them and I don't want them having a life fighting :( cannot stop crying x

It's such a shame that you may have to rehome them, would it be possible for you to keep a pair that get on well? Or do they all fight with each other? Boars need a lot of space and can be little sods especially when they get to the hormonal stage, it's rare to have 3 boars that get on nevermind 4! The fighting is most probably due to hormones, them being 4 boars and they may not have the space to get away from each other.

I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be the best thing for your piggies, only you can decide to rehome them or not.

They literally all fight with each other and I think ir would be really mean of me to keep them this way.
I'm thinking of maybe keeping Damon and possibly starting again, adopt him a friend whether that be a boar or neutered girl.

:( I just keep thinking it's something I've done wrong but I've spoilt them rotten. I think I should have done my research before getting them but of course it's a typical P@H story of them assuring me they'd be fine!

It's rare to come across a spayed girly so I'm affraid if you want a girl, Damon will have to get the snip lol. :)

Please don't blame yourself. You could always have Damon neutered and find him a girlfriend :) If you chose this option, you would need to wait 6 weeks after the op for him to go with a girl but it is a option and some rescues will let you take Damon along to choose his own wife xx

I had a really good think last night and I'm having to rehome Stefan, Cookie and Eddie.
Only problem is, me and my mum rang around this morning. We rang 6 rescues, 2 vets, a woman who has lots of guinea pigs, a woman looking for guineas and pets at home.
No where wanted them :(
Only place that is saying they'll take them is Pets at Home in Preston.

This isn't really where I wanted them to go, so I'm going to put up a thread on here on the rehome section, but if no one comes forward with them, it's going to have to be pets at home :(
