As some of you may know Maurice had an icky eye a couple weeks ago see below

moickyeye.jpg

after a quick trip to the V.E.T, a wipe with a wet cottonbud a hay seed was removed :)>>>, a few arguments with him over the next week or so to put drops in Maurice's eye seemed to be fine :)

i check his eye everyday just to be on the safe side (overprotective mother i know rolleyes ) but this morning he seems to be wanting to half shut his eye some of the time but not in a zzz way

think i will phone this morning after getting OH to have a proper look and maybe get him checked out as i wouldny like him to have a sore eye and be in pain - eek! :...

If you are unsure it is best to get him checked, there may just be a little inflammation remaining there, it's unlikely to be anything serious to worry about. :)

Is his eye clear, have the tissues that were inflamed in the above pic gone down?

yeh just a quick check to ease my mind is all I am after :) his eye looks clear apart from a slight watering along the bottom lid where he had the offending item stuck we still have some of the ointment left but I dont want to use it in case its not what he is needing and as it has been open for a couple weeks it might be off by now :(

our vet has a surgery morning, afternoon and evening so will check on him and see if it was maybe just with him waking up zzz

It looks like two seeds on the photo. Do you think he still has something in there. Sometimes though if their eye has been badly scratched, it takes a while to mend its self.

Yeh thats indeedy what it was rightly diagnosed by Laura-CCC4 (thanks again Laura :)) )

his eye was ok by the time OH checked it this morning so holding off at the Mo-ment (hehe get it he is called Maurtice :)) ) but tricking them into thinking I am just giving their bums a quick wash but they are actually getting a full blown bath {:|

sending good vibes - i know those drops are a nightmare to get in!

thanks - thankfully his eye seems ok and we didny need a trip to the V.E.T just keeping an "eye" (sorry rolleyes) on him - neither of them were impressed before gave them a {:| bath but theyre oh soooo fluffy now and smeel delightful :(|)
