A lady is rehoming as her baby is allergic, i would live them but here are some of my questions if anyone can help

I already have 2 boys, obviously these would be in their own c and c but just how careful do i need to be to protect Stanley and Henrys current bond if I have these 2.

1, can their cage be in the same room?
2, can i share their fleece once washed when I rotate or is it a cade of once its theirs ..no sharing even after washing due to smells etc
3, can they see each other?
4, can they share the same pen when i.do floor time not together but on rotation.

My 2 have a lovely bond atm. These new boys are under a year old mine are close to 2 years.
I just would not like to do anything to affect their bond so wondered if people keep 2 sets of boars without issue? In the same household bug not same habitat?
Here they are looking for their new home

I think boars can all be kept in the same room, it’s when you house sows near boar pairs that create a problem with boar bonds
As long as fleeces are washed it shouldn’t be a problem

It’s not a problem to keep a separate pairs of boars in the same room. It’s only sows that cannot be added to into a boar room. You may notice lots of interest and hormones when you first bring a new pair in though.
It would be best to keep their own separate items for each pair.
Again, with the playpen, use separate bedding/hideys etc for playpen time

If you do rehome them, particularly as these boys are within their teens, ensure you use soiled bedding for their cage etc so they can still recognise it as their own. Changing the environment and territories for boar pairs will see them reestablish their relationship. In well bonded pairs who want to be together, this will be a period of increased dominance which will calm down. In boars with underlying issues, it can cause a bond to break so a plan b living situation

Gorgeous boys 😍
That all made sense but if you want to, for a few minutes after you post, you can edit by pressing a button on the bottom left. Great function!

I have had several boar pairs living in the same room. I currently have two pairs and a single boar. All works fine after initial excitement of the arrival of a new pair.

Good luck with the rehoming 😊
