Thinking of setting up an online piggy shop

Following on from my fundraising thread i have been thinking for a while of adding a 'shop' page to my website, where i would sell piggy things and equipment etc. Good or bad idea?
 
Great idea. I love piggie shopping :))
Even better if the proceeds are going to a good cause :)
 
i love piggy shopping also my o/h nearly passed out when i told him i spent £3.99 on a small bag of hay from pampered piggies but they love it and have hardly come up for air :))
 
I like it! Have you any idea of the types of things you want to sell? Maybe start with a few things and build up to see how everything sells?

I will second that. When we set up it was hard finding places that were local that sold to trade. Also a lot of the larger companies have minimum orders, some of them being several hundreds of pounds upwards. It will all depend on what you are wanting to sell. Also if you have to do a minimum order you will need to think about where you are going to store it. You will also need to think about Tax returns and business insurance as an online seller.
 
Excellent idea - I love browsing sites for piggy things :)
