I stuck it out with the Burgess Excel and despite me only feeding my boys an eggcup full each a day, filtering their water and only feeding them low calcium vegetables I'm still noticing white spots on the fleece. I'm not keen on the ingredients in Excel either, all that soya and molasses :...

So anyway, I'm thinking of switching onto the JR Farm grainless nuggets. I'm very impressed as the first 3 ingredients are timothy grass, orchard grass and meadow grass. The entire list is: Timothy grass, orchard grass, meadow grass, plantain, red clover, meadow fescue, lady's mantle, parsley, pea flakes, diced carrots and beans flakes, diced parsnip, peppermint leaves, fennel, diced apple, flax seed, dandelion leaves, diced beetroot, nettle, chamomile flowers, black seed, vitamins.

The calcium is also only 0.5% whilst phosphorous is 0.3%. I must say that I do like the look of this food as the ingredients are all nice natural stuff, no soya, corn or fillers. The pellets do seem different than the last time I looked them up, different ingredients maybe I'm not sure.

So, I'd love your opinions please :) x

What do you mean veggies in pellets are bad? I would of thought veg would be better than wheat, corn, soya etc?

They would go bad faster. I read this somewhere. I will go find where I read it. Like I said, I could be wrong.
