Yesterday my husband and I went to a local lambing event, I've never seen so many lambs! I loved it and it cheered me up after the upsetting week we've had. Thought I'd share some pictures with you - first set are the 'awww' factor pictures, second set are more general pics.

I went to one of these last year, we saw a lamb being born and I got to hold one too. Apart from the fact he wee'd on me, I really loved it! Can't wait to go again this year :)

Awww, I was so hoping to see a birth, but it didn't happen :( I was telling some of the ewe's that looked really close to push but they ignored me :))

You were lucky! I'm definitely going next year!

I'm so excited to get back to work, I work at a kids activity fram, and the farmer who owns the fields surrounding us always gives us his orphan lambs to bottlefeed, we have about 30, and they're soooo adorable!

We have a city farm not to far from where we live and I love taking my youngest daughter to see all the baby animals (spring time is great), not sure who enjoys it more me or her lol.
 
OMG...I want your job!

They had a pen with 7 lambs in that were going to be 'pets' (it's an agricultural college) and were being bottle fed. They just loved human attention and were sucking my fingers like mad trying to get milk out of me :)) Wish I could have taken them all home!

Me and hubby were the only adults there without kids :))
 
Aw that's so cute. I love baby lambs . . . well all baby animals! :))

I've never held one or anything, only seen them in fields, but I'd love to! I went to some farms and saw baby pigs and calves and got to pet them and all, that was lovely :) But lambs are even cuter!

And a piglet weed on me rolleyes :))

It is a pretty amazing job...we breed those "Teacup Pigs" and they're soooooo cute!
Lambs are lovely when they do that! At least once a year we'll end up with a lamb who won't feed and so we have to take extra special care of it, and one of us gets to take it home! I'm waiting for my turn!

I'm so jealous! I'd work there for free :(|)

Those teacup pigs are adorable. Bit scared of people buying them as fad pets as from what I've read they shouldn't really be kept in houses, but your place sounds fantastic.

There is a farm quite local to us we've been to a couple of times (we don't have kids either :)) ) and must go soon again to see their baby lambs! Lambs and calves are the cutest things! :<>
