This forum is a bad influence to me :) I have had my piggies a week and after reading about c&c cages I've decided I want one, I did think my current cage was big enough but now I am not so sure. I am just in the middle of looking for things to build my new cage from all very exciting!

Proud to be of assistance :yahoo: You are not the only one who has been gripped by the forums vices. I started off with a 6X2ft hutch for my 4 pigs, they came in last year in 2 ferplast 120s joined to make one big cage. Since then I have been debating getting a c+ c cage, it wasn't until I lost 2 of my girls within 3 weeks (Oct/Nov) that i was actually able to get a c+c, it currently houses my 2 girls and one boy with a divider down the middle and is equivalent to 7x2 c+c (250cmx71cm) and I am so happy with it!

Haha glad its not just me, your cage sounds amazing! I got a cage from a pet shop I didn't know better but now I think I want them to have more room. I have been doing floor time daily and will keep on doing but I also want them to run around their cage and be as happy as possible, my other half is not aware yet that I am busy sorting a new cage, I think he wouldn't be impressed! However their mine and the kids piggies so I get the say on where they live:lol!:

I know you made me think when you replied to my other post :) I don't want sad piggies I want happy piggies

Aha yeah it is a bad influence. It made me go from two piggies to four and from a horrible tiny pet shop bought cage to a big CC cage for both sets of boys.

I have gone from a succession of 2 piggies in a 100x50 cm cage to about two dozen piggies in C&C pn in what used to be our dining room half of the living room over the space of the last few years - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Haha ;)
Yes I love it and thanks for the warning other piggies in the future would be great!
Wiebke wow I love your cage that's fab I think I could live in their

In the space we have I am thinking of making a 149cm by 77cm cage with a loft making it tall :) do you think this would be okay for two piggies?

Would be paradise.I started with a cage I was given and two piggies my pet shop was rehoming for someone to a 5x3 c&c with my quartet in and a duo in a 3x3, soon to be a quartet (cage will be extended) that fill my spare room. This its all in the space of 6 months.BE WARNED, they take over your life and your living space

My boys were going to be outdoors all year round. Then I joined the forum.... I now can't use the front door because the hutch and run are in the way and they spend lots of time free ranging around the coffee table! Watch this space to see if they go back outside in the spring!

WOW :woot:!
Although, Piggiepigpigs on YouTube has a nice big cage too!

I so glad it's not just me who is in love with them, I only joined a week ago their really is no help for me! However while I've been at work my other half has found a company in the uk who make c&c cages with lids etc apparently Scott doesn't trust my building skils! So one has been orderd it's this one so should give them lots of room to roam much more then at the mo :) I think in the future I would look at building up further I can't wait for it to come!

There are a couple of companies in the UK now; there weren't any two years ago!

I went to work and just got home and he showed it me I am hoping it gets here by weekend, I will still do floor time but its nice they will have more space x

We got that exact cage last week for our new Christmas piggies. It is fab, quite big though! My piggies aren't using the loft much although they can get up and down the ramp. They seem very happy downstairs! Just wondering whether to use the loft cages to extend the ground floor instead (would just fit on our table). I feel happy that the piggies are getting plenty of exercise as there is so much space. Enjoy yours! It's very easy to put together!

Hi aww thanks for that I am glad it's a good one, I can see me moving some of my kids toys laters its the width which we will struggle slightly with till we are use to it :)

If they don't use the loft extending the ground space sounds like a good idea. You could use the loft correx as a hay room and kitchen. Are they on fleece or bedding
