My precious fudge who has outlived her 1 week to live heart failure diagnosis by nearly a year, has beaten the odds yet again!

Her kidneys where shown to be struggling a good few months ago, and i was gutted. Normal readings where 0-0.5, failure at 2 and above. Fudges reading was 1.61.

They then dropped to 1.4 after a smal reduction in diuretics- she needs these for her severe heart problems, but they damage the kidneys.

I then picked up blood in her urine with at home monitering with dipsticks, repeated the test and her levels where 1.9- we thought this was it.

She was treated for a UTI, and her results dropped to 0.9. I was so pleased, as it showed her kidneys wherent as struggling as severely as we thought, although still some.

A few weeks later, blood flagged up again. She finished another course of antibiotics, this time for 3 weeks, just last week. I then sent off her urine for her routine monthly UPC check..

Here levels are now 0.5! High end of normal limits!

This girl is a wee miracle, just when i thought secondary problems had finally hit from her beating the odds for so long.. And she goes and knocks that out the picture too.

Someone get this girl a medal :D:D:D
