This has had me laughing since last night

It probably won't even seem that funny to you all but I had to share as I have been tittering away to myself all day.

Last night Gertie and Johnny were actually in their cage for once (normally loose in the living room) and I had 2 handfulls of lettuce, Gertie spotted it first (she is always about 5 seconds ahead of Johnny) and she took some. Johnny then noticed from under the ledge but as he tried to run towards me Gertie blocked his way on purpose so he just stole her lettuce out of her mouth. He was like "well stuff you then, if you won't move I will nick yours". Gert's face was priceless. Obviously I had to give her the other share.

They steal food off each other all the time but this really made me laugh.

Then later Daisy one of the hamsters was on her ledge in her hamster heaven and tried to put her paws on the tube that leads to her bed and completely missed and did a bellyflop turned somersault. I love my furbabies.

Seeing pigs like that makes you realise how much more fun they are together than alone! I love the stealing food game! It's like food tastes so much better if it's been seasoned in a family members mouth first...

Ha ha that's it exactly. We have really noticed a different side to Gert since Johnny arrived. They are so cute together.

mine do this. Tiny is a greedy little :x and sits in the food bowl. so when she reaches down to actually pick things up to eat it, Parsley steals it, then shares with Allie, which still surprises me. are they supposed to share? :p
