Okay okay.. I'm sharing this in good humor, even though I feel like the biggest IDIOT on the planet lol...
Okay so I picked up my very large boy, Pierre, out of his cage and of course he wiggles around as much as possible, so when I do get him out of the cage his legs are all over the place. I felt something on his underbelly, turned out it was just a knot in his fur, and I saw two nipples... I went "OMG! MICHAEL! PIERRE IS A GIRL!" ............. :D ;D 98) :embarassed:


He goes "What makes you think that?" and I was like "because he's got nipples!" And Mike just stares at me.... lol..


Aaahhh... haha. It cracks me up, I don't know why it didn't click before...

But there you have it! Your daily laugh 88)
 
I got a fright when I saw my Cobweb's nipples for the first time too!

And my children giggle because they think a boy guinea pig having nipples is just sooo silly! :D

LOL! ;D I think they found it so funny just because they've never seen 'animal nipples' before. They didn't question themselves (they are boys too) or their dad for some reason! I'd never thought to point it out either and even if I did they'd still laugh at the poor wee guinea's nipples. Imagine the hysterics they go into when Cobweb rolls over...
 
Lol when i saw my piggies' man nipples i thought there were something else too. I had no idea male pigs had nipples and there so low.

Does anyone else think they look a bit like skin tags?
 
;D I know what you mean... when I first saw one of Cobweb's nipples I said 'Oh no, he's been bitten!' and of course upon checking, 'oh no, he's been bitten twice!' and then 'oh, they're nipples...'
 
Lol- thats the sort of thing I would say without thinking!

Apparantly men (obviously in all species) have nipples because when an embryo is first forming (in humans its the first 8 weeks out of 40 weeks) embryos are female its only at a certain point that they start to develop extra bits if they are going to be boys!

So you could say that men have nipples because origionally they were women! believe me that goes down like a lead balloon sometimes >:D
